Here is this week's episode!
Stomp
1. Smif N Wesson - This hiphop duo reminds me of DMX's music, or at least this song does. I love DMX and I really like this group. They make some great music! I heard about them through the Indiefeed hiphop podcast. Check it out, You will always hear great hiphop through Indiefeed! You can find more music from Smif N Wesson on their Myspace page. They also have some music videos out. Check them out on You Tube! They just came out with an album and the single Gotta say it is tight! You just might hear it on this podcast next week!
The Vibe
2. B3 Kings - I Picked this tune up on the podsafe music network and I'm glad I did. I like jam fests and music infused with funk and blues. It's a wonderful little song and you can find more music from the B3 Kings. You can find them at the pub records website as well as more funk/jazz/dun artists and a weekly podcast there as well. Lot's of good stuff there so check it out!
Icarus
3. Super 8 Music UK - I love great pop music so it's always nice to find it. I found Super 8 on Garageband.com. Check him out on his Garageband page. You can also download the artist's podcast there as well and his MySpace page.
In My Room
4. The Comfies - This has got to be one of my favorite new pop groups. I first heard their music on the Filmspotting podcast. What can I say? I was hooked on these infectious beats. You can find more music from the Comfies on their MySpace page. You can buy their Close To Me EP album on MySpace or through Amazon.com downloads. It's a great album.
Tom Cruise Crazy
5. Jonathan Coulton - What a find! This is like the new version of Weird Al Yankovic! I heard this song an a Lost podcast and I had to play it. Yeah it's a little weird but weird's ok sometimes! I love this song! It's kind of old but in case you don't know, you can find it on Jonathan Coulton's blog or on Amazon downloads. By the way, the song, and more silly songs like it can be found on Jonathan Coulton's album Thing a Week Three.
Ostrich Hunt
6. Les Baxter - This cool song is from his African Jazz album. He has such a distinctive blend of camp, exotica, jazz and lounge elements to his music. It's wonderful.
That's it. Hope you enjoyed the show!

1. Nick Cicero - Nice, smooth instrumental you can chill out to. Cicero is an up and coming music producer from New York. You can find more of his work at Myspace and his website.
Tonight
2. Neenah - I found her from a link on another hip hop website. She's a muslim R&B artist from the Netherlands. How awesome is that? She has a great voice. She reminds me a little of Aaliyah. You can find her on MySpace and her website.
Faces
3. Melk - I found this band on Garageband. I though that they had a really interesting sound. A mix between The Shins and The White Stripes. Well, to me, anyway. Break: A Band Called Quinn has come out with their latest EP album this month. Track Listing:
1. DIY
2. DIY (oneyedboy remix)
3. Hey Chi Chi!
4. As The Day Goes On
5. The Audition
You can download this album and check out the new music video DIY from them on YouTube and hear them on the BBC radio show.
Troubleman
4. Nina Miranda - I love Nina Miranda and I first found out about her through her collaborations with Bebel Gilberto, a favorite Brazilian artist of mine. She is a part of the music group Zeep. Nina has also been a part of the band Smoke City.
Devotional
5. Tabla Beat Science - This was my very first electronica album and I am still entranced with it. You can find music from them on Calabash Music, Last.fm, Mog.com or you can preview their music on Amazon.com.
Toura, Toura
6. DJ Cheb I Sabbah - I think that this guy is one of the preeminent kings of electronic music. Everything he touches is gold! His website, his Myspace page. His work is gorgeous, always socially responsible, always spiritual. This particular song is from his album La Kahena.
Enjoy the show!

Episode #14
This week's episode!
State of Emergency
1. Baba Israel and Yako - Cool island beats and a spiritual and social aspect. This is what I really like in hiphop. You can find more from Baba Israel and Yako from the podsafe music network and their website openthoughtmusic.com.
Hip Hop Soul
2. Stephan Coonan - Stephan has been dj-ing for 12 years and producing music for 4 years. This relaxing, chilled out song is only one example of what this multi talented dj and producer has done. Check out more of his work at his website, steffencoonan.com.
Moon out of the sky
3. Dirt Farmer - Very interesting name, Dirt Farmer - not to be confused with Dirt Farmers an experimental hiphop group. Dirt Farmer has that slightly spaced out, mysterious sound that reminds me of that whole Ziggy Stardust thing. Or maybe a dark, tripped out Cold Play. You can find their music on MySpace and their Garageband page.
Break: information about Electronic group Under and their EP album titled Under. Background music is Elves on Patrol by Deerfoot.
Long Way Home
4. Cantinero - Found this cool song while surfing Garageband for new music. I don't know but the sound of this song reminds me of a cross between something from Rufus Wainwright and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. That's a lot of coolness! You can find more from this artist from Garageband.
Waltz for Koop
5. Koop - I love Koop. Anything that is smooth, light and gorgeous sounding is fine by me and Koop fits that bill. I believe that this version of the song is the original version from what I played a few months ago. Koop has a more recent release out. Check them out.
Union
6.Under - I'm really excited by this new album purchase. The vocals and sounds on this album are melancholic and beautiful, like gossamer wings. I really love this group. You can find their music at CD Baby, their MySpace page and their website.
Hope you enjoy this week's show.

podcastFAQ.com
Calling all fellow bloggers and podcasters out there!
Podcasting and blogging is just coming into its own but we all need as much help from each other as we can get. The new media community is new, close knit and rather small right now and many of us are still learning lessons as we go along in the business.
I listen to quite a few podcasts and one of those is the Geek News Central Podcast, hosted by Todd Cochrane. The guys over there have a cool new site created specifically as a resource for bloggers and podcasters. It's called podcastFAQ.com, "the place with answers to frequently asked podcasting questions."
You can also get information about meet-ups and podcasting conventions around the country or even around the world. Not only is this a potential valuable resource of learning for those of us in new media but if there is information, news or anything you feel is missing from the site that should be added, the creators invite you to contribute that information. . . . and if you want a little promotion for your own podcasts or site, you can link to them and write a little something on your site about them, then provide the title of your site and a link to them and they will put your site on their blog roll. How's that for good karma?
Never fear - this week's show will be out tonight on Podango and the playlist and mp3 will be available here tomorrow!
